FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions our support desk receives most. Write to us if yours is not here.

01Why do I get the “You can’t edit your own profile” error?
Learn matches you through your Microsoft account. If another Microsoft account is open in your browser, the system signs you in with an identity that is not registered in Learn and returns this error. Log out, close other Microsoft sessions and sign in again with your BİLGİ address. If it persists, write to lms.support@bilgi.edu.tr
02I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Text bilgipass to 2322 from your phone and you will receive the reset steps. If the SMS does not arrive, write to
03I can’t access my e-mail. How do I log in?
Login depends entirely on your Microsoft account, so you cannot reach Learn without it. Recover your account first:
04I registered for a course in SIS but I can’t see it in Learn.
First check Courses → In progress — the course is usually there. If it is still missing, it may be waiting for the transfer: registrations move from SIS to Learn every day at 20:00 and a course can take up to 48 hours to appear. Once that window has passed, send the course code to lms.support@bilgi.edu.tr
05Can you send me course materials, my assignment or exam results?
We have no access to those records. Contact your instructor or faculty for course content and grades.
06Can you help with course software such as Rhino?
Our scope covers Learn and Zoom only. Contact your faculty for course software.
